Platform Integration

You may need to make a few updates to your app or platform infrastructure.

• Streaming Requirements — Senza plays streaming video encoded using MPEG DASH, so make sure that your video streams are encoded in a compatible format.
• Network Integration — If your platform has a security policy that restricts incoming connections by IP address, you will need to update your allow list to grant access from the Senza platform.
• CDN Integration — Senza plays video streams over HTTPS using particular cipher suites, so you will need to verify that your CDN is using compatible encryption.

• Protected Content— If your app plays encrypted video, you will need to configure some DRM settings inside your app to support streaming video to the cloud connector.
• Device Authentication — If your app requires a user login, you can create a smoother user experience by adding support for device based authentication so users don't have to sign in using credentials.
• Device Fingerprinting — Combat piracy by displaying a device-specific watermark on the screen.
• Emergency Alerts — If your platform is required to be able to broadcast emergency alerts, learn how you can use the Group Messaging feature to send messages to all devices.
